Standard Technologies

Composite C1 is developed in a range of standard technologies that are familiar to developers; the visual procedures are delivered in XSLT and CSS and the templates are XHTML and Javascript. Back-end developers will benefit from the use of the new .NET Framework 3.5, and SQL server technologies.

Microsoft .NET 3.5

.NET Framework 3.5 includes Windows Workflow Foundation (WF), Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) and Windows CardSpace. It builds incrementally on the existing frameworks and provides a range of additional new features.

Windows Workflow Foundation

We have also leveraged the new framework's protocol support for building Windows Workflow Foundation services to enhance Composite C1 itself.

WF is the programming model, engine and tools for quickly building workflow enabled applications on Windows. WF includes support for both system workflow and human workflow across a wide range of scenarios.

Integration to External Systems

Composite C1 is an open environment and its separation of the application and data layers allow it to integrate very simply into a wide range of systems through the use of .NET, SOAP, Web Services or C#. This allows you to pull external data into your online environment from your CRM, ERP or other strategic systems.
