The historic Tivoli Gardens in the centre of Copenhagen formed the setting of the official Danish launch of Composite's new and innovative Content Management System, Composite C1. The launch, which took place on the 2nd of April, was a great success and attracted more than 70 participants from some of the leading web and advertising agencies in Denmark.
Vice President at Composite, Kasper K. Larsen, introduced the CMS of the future - Composite C1. Participants gained an insight into the many ground-breaking features of Composite C1, including how Composite C1 is the only CMS that combines the high degree of usability of page-based CMS with the technical possibilities of an item-based CMS.
"Throughout the entire development phase of Composite C1, it has been crucial to us that we would end up with a CMS that meets the actual needs of the people who will be working with it. We therefore continuously consulted leading usability experts in the industry as well as teamed up with market research organisations and conducted focus groups with representatives of various selected personas in order to optimise the final product," says Oskar Lauritzen, CEO at Composite, and continues:
"We chose to work actively with personas to ensure that we would end up with a CMS which takes into account all users from the hardcore back-end developer to the editor with limited technical skills. This means that no matter which role you play in terms of developing and maintaining a website, you will find the optimal tools for those purposes in Composite C1".
In the second part of the presentation, Composite's TP/ISV Manager, Mikkel Sørensen, showed how Composite makes it possible - and easy - to build sites with functionalities which have not previously been possible. Composite C1 utilises the newest Microsoft technologies such as .NET 3.5 and Windows Workflow Foundation, which is used to administer user interface workflows. This gives Composite C1 the market's highest degree of usability.
