On 7 February 2008, Composite partners got an exclusive sneak-peak at Composite's new innovative Content Management System, Composite C1. The pre-release event was a huge success with lots of positive feedback from the partners.
During the pre-release, Vice President at Composite, Kasper K. Larsen unveiled some of the many advantages of Composite C1, including how the system is the first of its kind to combine the advantages of the previously separated page-based and item-based CMS.
Attendees at the event also gained insight into how Composite has developed the new system to suit a well-defined cast of user personas, stretching from the hardcore back-end developer to the editor with little or no technical knowledge.
During the last part of the presentation, TP/ISV Manager, Mikkel Sørensen, illustrated how Composite C1 utilises the latest technologies such as .NET 3.5 and Windows Workflow Foundation.
After the presentation, attendees were offered the opportunity to ask more questions about the product and to network over a delicious buffet.
"It has always been Composite's strategy to team up with the industry's leading companies. Throughout the entire development phase, we continually consulted various usability experts and others from the industry as well as conducting focus groups in order to optimise the final product," explains CEO, Oskar Lauritzen.
"Our various partners are Composite's most important business partners. It was therefore very important to us to receive input from them before we launched the final product," says Oskar Lauritzen. As a result, all attendees were given beta version of Composite C1, which were encouraged to take home and try out and then give feedback, which could help optimise the final version.
The official launch of Composite C1 in Holland takes place on 6 March at the Danish Embassy in the Haag. If you are interested in participating in this event, please contact Managing Director of Composite Netherlands B.V., Marc Gutlich, at mag@composite.net.
