Composite C1 is distributed for free under the Mozilla Public License in a version that feature-wise is 100% identical with the commercially licensed version. In addition to a commercial license that gives companies benefits like product warranty, Composite also offers professional services like support, training, upgrade tools and a wide range of free and commercial modules.

The name of the company, Composite, reflects the vision to develop a CMS seamlessly integrated in the existing corporate infrastructure on a modular basis.
