Composite C1 - Who are we?

The story so far

Composite is a Danish software company based in lovely Copenhagen. We have been making content management software since 1999 were we started the company in a damp basement. In the beginning Composite was a commercial product, but in 2010, after completing a total rewrite of our first generation CMS from 2007-2010, we decided to distribute our new version, Composite C1, as open source. Going open source has been a fantastic adventure, and we are loving every bit of it.

Meet the team

Oskar Philip Lauritzen Boss I am the CEO and Co-owner of Composite. I have been working in the CMS industry for the last 10 years. I am one of the few "mortals" on the team - dealing with everything business related such as strategy, sales and service. I have a Master degree in Business from the IT University of Copenhagen. Connect with me on LinkedIn or Facebook.	Marcus 'mawtex' Wendt Tech Boss I am the company founder, Product Manager and one of the "brains" behind Composite C1. I have a background in Computer sciences at Copenhagen University, 15 years in the Internet industry. I do code check-ins now and then, but I primarily focus on users and developers, feature planning, our organization and strategy.

Past: Executive Chairman of the Board & Co-owner at Epista Software A/S, Manager at Valtech UK Ltd. Business Development Director at AHEAD UK Ltd.	Dmitry Dzygin Core Developer I started programming at the age of 12 with writing my own version of "Tank Wars" in Turbo Pascal. Since then I received a Master's degree in Applied Math. In the C1 team my main responsibilities are SQL support and code performance.
Taras Nakonechnyi Core Developer I am a developer on the Composite team where I work on packages, customer-specific features, quick tasks, and more. I have been in web development since 2004 having started my way with PHP/CSS and now being a specialist in ASP.NET/XSLT and other front-end web technologies.	Volodymyr Muzyka Manager My name is Volodymyr, but everyone calls me Vlad. I manage the Composite Ukraine team in Kiev. My primary focus areas are ASP.NET, C#, XSLT, team management and customers support. I enjoy reading, underwater hunting, snowboarding and PvP in the World of Warcraft. For the Alliance!
Vitaly Wysocki Technical Writer I chose to be an IT professional almost 8 years ago having changed my career path from helping people understand each other (as a translator) to helping people understand software and software to understand people. I work as a technical writer and software tester in Composite.	Inna Boitsun Package Developer I work as a Developer at Composite and my role is to help build C1 Packages and starter sites. I also help with support issues on our help desk, digging to the bottom of versatile issues. I have strong knowledge and practical background in web development and design.
Poul K. Sørensen Windows Azure Lead I am a motivated and passionate young person who love solving problems. With a B.Sc. in Software Technology from DTU and 10 years' experience in programming, I want to make the world a better place.
